Our passion is to help towns across Scotland to create, develop and sustain local community lotteries. We believe that it is a highly effective way to raise funds for local causes, that it can be a catalyst to other local initiatives and that it can increase the number of volunteers able and willing to help their community to grow.
It does take volunteers to make it happen. Some volunteer groups will have all the energy, skills and know-how to make a success of their lottery. As far as we are concerned that’s the best outcome. A do-it-yourself approach will mean you have more hands-on control and you may be able to keep costs to a minimum.
Some volunteer groups may have the enthusiasm to establish a lottery but not the skills or the know-how. That’s where we come in. We will support you through the launch, set-up, development and operations of your lottery and help you sustain it for many years to come.
We take the hassle out of running a lottery by doing the ‘boring’ stuff like registration, draw set up, reporting, licence management, query handling, policy development, payment checking and general administration.
Leaving you to focus on the fun bit and where you can add most value to your community – promoting the lottery, engaging the community, conducting draws and managing the allocation of funds generated for local good causes.
